PERBEDAAN JENIS MIKROORGANISME PADA BAJU PELINDUNG DOKTER GIGI PADA TINDAKAN SKELING DAN ORAL SCREENING DI RUMAH SAKIT GIGI DAN MULUT BAITURRAHMAH

Dokter gigi di Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Baiturrahmah menggunakan baju pelindung dokter gigi sebagai pakaian praktek sehari-hari, dengan baju pelindung tersebut berpotensi sebagai tempat transmisi bakteri patogen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan jenis mikroorganisme pada baju pelindung Dokter gigi pada tindakan skeling dan oral screening Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Baiturrahmah. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional, sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah baju pelindung Dokter gigi saat melakukan tindakan skeling dan oral screening Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Baiturahmah dan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah random sampling. Hasil penelitian jenis mikroorganisme pada baju pelindung Dokter gigi pada tindakan skeling ditemukan bakteri Bacillus sp, Streptococcus sp, Staphylococcus sp dan Staphylococcus aureus dan tindakan screening hanya ditemukan bakteri Bacillus sp dan Staphylococcus aureus.
