Article Processing Charges (APC)

B-Dent: Jurnal Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Baiturrahmah (JBD) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support sustainable publishing and open access dissemination. The total APC is IDR 800,000, structured as follows:
- Submission Fee: 500,000 IDR (at manuscript submission; administrative and initial manuscript handling fee
- Publication fee: 300,000 IDR (after the manuscript is accepted; production, layout, and publication fee)

Payment Terms
The Submission Fee is paid at the submission stage and is non-refundable, including in cases of rejection or author withdrawal.

The Publication Fee is payable only after the manuscript receives an Accept decision from the Editor. Manuscripts will not proceed to production and publication until this fee is settled.

Payment is made through the mechanism designated by the journal (bank transfer or other announced method). Proof of payment must be sent to the editorial office for verification.

Waiver policy: JBD may grant a partial or full fee waiver under specific circumstances, such as limited funding for authors from low- and middle-income countries. Waiver requests must be submitted in writing to the Editor in Chief with a clear justification and are approved at the journal's discretion.

The APC does not cover language editing or other external costs that authors may require; such costs are the author's responsibility.
