Peer Review Process

Each text received will go through a is a double blind peer review serial journal  by the reviewer in charge. The decision of the manuscript will be known by the author a maximum of 4 weeks after the text was received by the editor

 

Publication Frequency

Baiturrahmah Medical Journal is published twice a year (June and December). Each issue number (issue) is a minimum of 5 (five) article titles

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

The Ethics Publication

Baiturrahmah Medical Journal refers to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in matters relating to the ethics of publications, in particular, the Protocol of Research and publication errors. Heme adopted COPE in order to follow the high ethical standards aimed at editors, writers, and Bestari partners. Publishers are not entitled to interfere with the integrity of the content and are solely responsible for periodic and timely publication.

 

For Editors 

  1. the Editor having responsibility for each manuscript/manuscript published in the Health and Medical Journal
  2. The Editor must ensure that each author follows the rules of writing in the Health and Medical Journal.
  3. The editors can communicate final decisions with the Journal Manager, other editors, and Bestari partners.
  4. The editors in providing the evaluation of the manuscript should be conducted objectively without looking at the aspects of nationality, ethnicity, political affiliation, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation of the author.
  5. Editors must reject assignments when the editors ' interest may conflict
  6. Editors should ensure that the manuscript sent to the Bestari partner does not contain information about the author, and vice versa.
  7. The editors ' decision must be submitted to the author with the Bestari response of the partner, except for personal or defamatory responses.
  8. The Editor must appreciate the request from the author who rejects the individual to evaluate his manuscript as long as the reason is acceptable.
  9. If the Editor finds or suspects an act of infringement.  Authors, editors can follow the guidelines in the COPE flowchart in resolving the influence conflict.
  10. The editors and staff must ensure the confidentiality of all the manuscripts submitted.

 

For Partner Bestari

  1. Bestari asked to provide a possible commentary in the research manuscript if suspected of finding fault with the Writing Ordinance, Publication Ethics and the publication
  2. the Bestari partner is expected to complete the work At the specified time and gives the Editor information when unable to fulfill the specified period.
  3. Partner Bestari must be confident of the author's manuscript.
  4. The partner Bestari may not accept any manuscript for assessment if it is potentially a conflict of interest or a competitive, collaborative, or other relationship with any author, company or institution.
  5. The partner Bestari must ask Editor for consideration/attention to the similarity of substance or overlap between the manuscript being considered and other publication papers that have other authors in common.
  6. Particular information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal benefit.

 

For Authors

  1. The authors should be able to assure that the manuscript/manuscript has never been published before and has never transferred rights to the article to another party.
  2.  The authors ensure that the authenticity of the manuscript of his work and follow the quoting rules that correspond to the appropriate reference format.
  3.  Authors should not be involved in plagiarism or  Oto-plagiarism.
  4. The author must follow the rules of writing the Health and Medical Journal that the author has not sent the manuscript/manuscript simultaneously with the same topic and title to another journal.
  5.  The author should be able to provide information and to make details of the related research data if the editors find that there is a suspected counterfeit or plagiarism in the manuscript.
  6. If a writer finds errors or inaccuracies that affect the manuscript/script that has been submitted, then the author must immediately notify the Editor or Journal Manager to withdraw the text and improve the manuscript/manuscript immediately.
  7. Authors are not allowed to draw articles that are being reviewed by Reviewer before being returned by Reviewer to editorial.
