PENYULUHAN DAN PEMERIKSAAN KESEHATAN GIGI DAN MULUT SISWA/SISWI TPQ/TQA MUSHALLA AN- NABAWI KOTA PADANG
Abstrak
Maintaining dental and oral health is one way to improve health. The mouth is not just a gateway for food and drink but the function of the mouth is more than that and not many people realize the great role of the mouth in a person's health and well-being. Dental and oral health services are specifically aimed at groups prone to dental and oral health problems, namely children aged 5-12 years. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counseling on increasing the knowledge of children aged 5-12 years about how to maintain dental and oral health. The research method is observation, counseling, and evaluation. The results of counseling on brushing teeth properly and correctly at the An-Nabawi prayer room in Padang City are that children are aware that brushing their teeth from an early age is very important, children can brush their teeth properly and correctly even though not optimally, so that children have early knowledge about brushing their teeth properly and well. It was obtained from counseling on proper and correct tooth brushing at the An-Nabawi prayer room that children are already aware that brushing their teeth from an early age is very important, children are already able to brush their teeth properly and correctly even though it is not optimal, providing support to children in terms of health is very important because it can become a habit for their future lives.
