Abstract

Providing education about dental and oral health aims to increase knowledge and how to maintain dental and oral health, especially for children. Some of them lack knowledge about how to maintain good dental and oral health, so community service activities are needed to increase knowledge of dental and oral health maintenance. mouth to avoid damage to the teeth and mouth, namely by providing education and counseling on how to care for children's oral cavities. Providing dental and oral health education is carried out using teaching aids in the form of dental phantoms and flip charts. After providing education, children were asked several direct questions to determine the level of children's knowledge about maintaining oral health. All the children present were very cooperative. With this activity, children can understand their dental and oral problems, which can motivate them to want to undergo further examinations and procedures at the dentist.
